This cabbage casserole method is bit distinct form other casserole recipes which are quite juicy and lusty. This cabbage casserole is somehow dry but its crisp potato crust enhances its flavor and you get all the appetizing flavor of juicy cabbage with beef and taco sauce and crispy from sides and base. Serve this cabbage casserole hot with ketchup.

Ingredients:
For Potato Crust:
1 1/2 cup hash brown potatoes
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp onion powder
For Beef Stuffing:
1 lb ground beef
1 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
4 oz chopped fresh green chilies
1/2 cup hot cookies taco sauce
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Procedure:
1. To make potato crust merge potatoes, cup cheese, tsp pepper, onion powder and then tightly make layer of this compound in a shallow casserole dish so that it covers the whole base and sides. 2. Bake this crust for 20 min. At 350 degrees F.
3. Meanwhile get ready beef stuffing for that brown ground beef in skillet until come to be dry.
4. Take off the beef from skillet and stir fry cabbage in the same skillet for just 2-3 min.
5. Take off the skillet form heat and mix ground beef, chili peppers, cup taco sauce, pepper and onion powder with cabbage.
6. Spread this stuffing over the baked potato crust and top with remaining cheddar cheese. Place the pan in oven for 20 min at 350 degrees F until cheese melts completely.
